Start with application compatibility
Both model families provide rugged Windows computing options. Confirm the exact generation, Windows configuration, application requirements, and peripheral support on the quote. A familiar model name does not guarantee that ports, mounts, or accessories match a device already in service.
Evaluate interaction in context
Load representative forms, lists, and diagrams. Ask operators to complete normal tasks while carrying or mounting the device as intended. Compare readability, input, access to controls, and the space needed for the full working setup. This exposes tradeoffs that a processor comparison alone will miss.
Specify the RFID system separately
For UHF RFID, identify the reader and supported application. Do not infer built-in UHF capability from a barcode or NFC option. If considering Theia’s UX10 reader offering, confirm compatibility with the exact UX10 generation before making it a deciding factor.
Request a comparable quote
Give Theia the same application, quantity, accessory, charging, and deployment requirements for both alternatives. Include any existing mounts or devices that must remain in service. Compare complete configurations and test the preferred option before committing to a wider rollout.
Compare exact configurations
Build a worksheet with the generation, operating system, application, peripherals, mounting, carrying method, charging routine, and required connectivity for each candidate. Getac publishes model-specific specifications and options; record which features are included in the quoted configuration. Do not assume that an option shown in a product family description is present in every device.
Test the reader pairing as its own decision
A tablet selection does not establish compatibility with a particular RFID reader. For Theia’s UX10 reader, confirm the intended UX10 generation and complete setup. If evaluating an F110 workflow, identify its proposed reader and application separately. Walk the actual task while carrying the equipment and handling exceptions; desktop familiarity alone does not establish field usability.
